The Huntingdon community have come together and helped raise more than £1,600 for three "amazing" charities at the mayor's first charity day and auction.
Magpas Air Ambulance, Centre 33, and Hunts Shopmobility will each receive a share of the money raised from the event, which featured a host of games, bingo, raffles, auctions and fun.
Mayor of Huntingdon, Cllr David Landon Cole, said: "I'm so grateful to everyone who helped put the charity day together, all the sponsors and volunteers, but most of all everyone who came and gave so generously.
"Together, we've raised over £1,600 for three amazing charities working in Huntingdon."
People came throughout the day on Saturday, March 11, to support the event, participate in the auction held in the Montagu club, and visit lots of stalls and games.
Several prizes were up for grabs, including tickets for Cambridge United, Peterborough United, Huntingdon races, tea at the House of Commons and more.
The highest-selling item was a unique historical Huntingdonshire County Council sign from before 1965 when the district was a county, which raised £250.

Cllr Landon Cole said: "The £250 makes a really big difference to Hunts Shopmobility and will pay for 3-4 hours of counselling from centre 33 and pays for the pre-drawn medicines that the paramedics and doctors that go with Magpas carry.
"We raised slightly over our target, which is great, and everybody who came enjoyed themselves and had a good time."
The event was also supported by the HRA Scooter Club, who rode around the Huntingdon ring road and parked their scooters outside Magpas for all the attendees and passers-by to enjoy.

The charity day was accompanied by live music from RAW Theatre productions and was rounded off with a disco hosted by Rob Bradshaw.
Cllr Landon Cole added he was "really pleased" with the first-ever open day style mayor's charity event and that he hopes whoever the next mayor of Huntingdon is will continue to do something similar for great causes.
