Businesses in St Neots are being asked to support the mayor's charity ball which is due to take place on March 25.

Each year, the current mayor of the town hosts a ball to raise funds for their chosen charities.

Cllr Ben Pitt has chosen the theme of 'Livin' La Vida Local' supporting various local eateries by inviting them to provide starters, mains and desserts, local music talent to entertain the guests, and a local plant supplier will provide the table decorations.

"We are now reaching out to the local business community asking anyone who would like to be a part of this fantastic event to kindly donate a raffle prize," said a spokesperson for St Neots Town Council.

"This will help to raise funds for the important charities Cllr Pitt has chosen to support this year, whilst recognising all of the great local businesses we have to offer in St Neots.

"No matter how big or small, any donation would be greatly appreciated by Cllr Pitt and St Neots Town Council."

This year's chosen charities are: Disability Huntingdonshire; Love's Farm Community Money Advice; Young People’s Counselling Service.

Disability Huntingdonshire: Providing information, advice and support for people with disabilities and older people. www.dish.org.uk
