Employees at McDonald’s restaurants in Huntingdon, Brampton Hut and St Ives joined colleagues wider afield earlier this month (February) to donate over 100 bags of food to local food banks.
Spreading the love on Valentine’s Day this year, the food donations from generous staff members have helped to provide those in need with essential food supplies.
Glyn Pashley, who owns and operates McDonalds’s restaurants in Daventry, Kettering and Corby that took part in this year’s donations, said: “The kindness shown by our employees has surpassed all expectations.
“It’s been fantastic to see the team across the 18 stores come together and support the community initiative so strong.”
In the local area, the food donations were distributed to Three Pillars Foodbank in St Neots and Diamond Hampers in Huntingdon.
