Members of a singing group in Buckden have raised money for a Godmanchester charity.
The Aragon Singers of Buckden hosted a Christmas concert at the town's Baptist Church on November 26
The group was set up in support of the Godmanchester Community Sponsorship Project.
This was originally set up to support a Syrian refugee family to rebuild their lives and now a second Syrian family is already here. Everyone present was absolutely delighted to welcome both families to the concert. and nearly £700 was raised for this wonderful project which is ongoing.
The audience enjoyed a concert with a huge variety, which included both lively and reflective Christmas and topical music, together with audience participation carols and soloist pieces.
Attached is a photograph of the choir at Godmanchester Baptist Church.
