CARTER Jonas and Dreweatt Neate, two of the UK's leading and longest established property firms, merged this month to form a new firm still called Carter Jonas.
The new property consultancy has a combined turnover of �30 million, 75 partners plus over 400 staff working from 31 offices, which include Cambridge and Peterborough.
Before the merger Carter Jonas operated 20 offices in east, north and central England, Wales and London, while Dreweatt Neate was a business with 11 offices across southern England.
Both firms operated in areas of the country where the other did not.
Mark Granger (Carter Jonas) is chief executive of the new firm, David Smith (Dreweatt Neate) is senior partner and John Henniker-Major, based in Carter Jonas's Peterborough office is chairman. The new firm's management board is made up of Mark Granger, together with Alastair Martin and Simon Pallett of Dreweatt Neate and Scott Harkness and Cambridge-based Tim Jones of Carter Jonas.
