CAMBRIDGE-based intellectual property specialist Hamish Corner has become a partner in the law firm, Charles Russell.

Mr Corner graduated with a law degree from University College London in 1998, and after qualifying in 2001 worked for another local firm before joining Charles Russell in 2004. He now joins Charles Russell's 100-member partnership.

He acts for a number of Cambridgeshire-based clients in the technology and IT sectors. He is also a member of the firm's sports & leisure group, acting for a number of sports governing bodies and teams, clothing and equipment manufacturers, venue owners and operators, restaurant chains and fashion goods retailers, in the UK and overseas.
