WITH the deadline for submission of the 2009 paper tax return looming, Haines Watts, chartered accountants in Huntingdon, has produced a tax guide to help taxpayers to understand and navigate the tax system.
The guide contains practical tips to help minimise tax liabilities and is broken down into sections to help users find the relevant information quickly. The sections are: Working for Others, Working for Yourself, Family Matters, Tax and Investments, Capital Disposals and Preserving Inheritance. Paper returns must be with HM Revenue & Customs by October 31.
Simon Laskey of Haines Watts explained: "If you've got an issue with tax, you'll find it covered here in a way that everyone can digest quickly and easily. We have been making the guide available to clients and contacts alike for a few weeks now. The common response is that it is actually written in an understandable way."
INFORMATION: Copies can be downloaded from the Haines Watts website at http://www.hwca.com/ or a hard copy can be obtained by contacting Simon Laskey on 01480 434609 or via huntingdon@hwca.com
