THE Premier convenience store in Buckden has been sold by Christie and Co.
Gurdeep Chandi will take over the store from Asghar Karim, who had been running his pharmacy from the premises.
Mr Karim has moved into premises formerly used as a newsagent, with the newsagent business passing to Mr Chandi at Buckden Mini Market.
Mark Page, who handled the sale, said: "Gurdeep now plans to run the store with his sons, while Asghar Karim trades a few doors down. The goodwill of the newsagents was simply passed to Gurdeep in a transaction that had even the solicitors scratching their heads.
