JOBS Lost and Found will be theme of a free training programme helping people to deal with redundancy and to put themselves on the path to a new career.
The workshops will begin on Monday April 26 at Longsands College, St Neots, and are open to those facing redundancy, currently unemployed, and those looking for a career change. The course has been designed to equip those attending with the skills needed to find a more rewarding job, and will cover topics ranging from anticipating redundancy, to creating an achievements-based CV.
Other subjects covered during the day include learning how go about a career search, interview preparation and skills, developing personal profiles for written and phone applications, and how to fit into new working environments.
