Despite more than 2,000 signatures opposing parking charges, Huntingdonshire District Council plans to charge up to 1.50 a day to park at Riverside and Cambridge Street car parks.
The march has been organised by town Councillor Steve van de Kerkhove and community campaigner Anne Harris. Cllr Van de Kerkhove said 900 people had joined the Stop HDC introducing parking charges at Riverside Park St Neots Facebook group. “We need to send a clear message to HDC that enough is enough,” he said.
