FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house fire in Huntingdon on Sunday.

The fire had started in the roof space of a two-storey terraced home, which was interconnected with the roof space of four other homes.

Crews from Thorney, St Ives and St Neots, and a turntable ladder from Dogsthorpe were called at 11.50am.

They accessed the roof space from inside and outside to stop the fire spreading, and used two hose reels and one jet to extinguish the fire. They returned to their fire stations by 4pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
