MUSICAL genius Kate Bush makes a welcome return this month with her first album in five years.
The highly-anticipated follow-up to the arguably slightly disappointing Aerial, released in 2006, is entitled Director’s Cut.
The album, which has 34 tracks, is split into two parts – the first is more traditional and features distinct songs whereas the second sees Bush get a bit experimental.
Some parts of the album have been described as a “grower” but there are some instantly gratifying tracks such as Rubberband Girl, This Woman’s Work, Top of the City and A Deeper Understanding, which Bush recently released as a single.
Definitely an album to invest in this spring.
