A MAN found dead near a Godmanchester lake has been named by the Coroner’s Office.
Anthony Donnellan, 51, of Huntingdon, was found dead at Monk’s Lake on Tuesday evening.
An inquest into the death was opened and adjourned today (Friday) by coroner David Morris.
The cause of death was given as traumatic head injury.
Police attended Monk’s Lake at 6.30pm, after a member of the public raised concerns about a man near Rectory Farm. When officers arrived they discovered the body of Mr Donnellan.
A police spokesman said earlier this week that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
No date has been fixed to resume the hearing, pending further enquiries.
