THE Golden Knight pub, in Sapley Square, Huntingdon, re-opened on Saturday after it was closed in November following a licence review.
FORMER landlord Ricky Newton handed in his notice on November 9, midway through a review meeting, which had been called after cocaine, cannabis and pepper spray were found on the premises during a police raid in August.
Harry Kelly is the new interim manager whom owners Admiral Taverns pledged at the meeting to install within 28 days.
A spokesman said: “The Golden Knight was closed for a short time due to a change of licensee. It is back open and trading and we are committed to putting the Golden Knight on the map as a cornerstone of the community.”
