A MAN from Huntingdon with more than 80,000 indecent images of children was traced in international operation.

A Child Exploitation and Online Protection investigation in Luxemburg led officers to Kahung Sett-Wong’s house in Provence Road after identifying almost 5,000 addresses linked to an Internet forum where indecent pictures were shared.

Officers seized computer equipment in the raid, in October last year, which has nearly 83,000 indecent images, the majority were at level one - the lowest on the scale, but 19 were at the highest level.

Sett-Wong, 38, pleaded guilty to possessing indecent images of children at Peterborough Crown Court on Monday (February 27). He was jailed for 12 months.

Detective Constable Gareth Purdy said: “This case shows how we are able to trace those people who download indecent images of children, regardless of whether they’re using foreign forums.

“This type of crime is by no means victimless and anyone who downloads or shares such images is supporting that criminality and faces being sent to prison.”
