FRIENDS have raised more than 7,000 by posing naked for a charity calendar.
The 11 from Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Norfolk thought they would sell 50 copies of their Down on the Farm calendar in aid of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign – but sold more than 800.
The friends, who all come from a farming background, were led by school sports coach Alex Paske, of Thurning, in Norfolk. They were inspired to strip off to help muscular dystrophy sufferers, such as 19-year-old Robert Elliott, from Sawtry, one of Alex’s friends.
Muscular dystrophy causes muscle weakness and can affect the legs and arms, as well as internal organs.
