MOTORISTS are being to expect travel disruption due to the Secret Garden Party which starts tomorrow (Thursday).
Tens of thousands of people will be attending the festival at Abbots Ripton.
A Cambridgeshire police spokesman said: “A large number of vehicles are expected to be heading to the site over the next few days.
“We would remind residents to allow more time for their journey as there may be some disruption to routes around the venue.”
Festival-goers are being warned to keep their valuables secure while on the site following thefts from cars and tents at other recent festivals across the UK.
People are also being urged not to take drugs at the festival following a number of deaths potentially linked to ecstasy-type drugs.
