THE pedestrian killed on a busy Peterborough road last night (Sunday) has been named as David Pearson.
Mr Pearson, of Reeves Way, Peterborough, was hit by a Renault Megane Scenic at around 11pm on the northbound carriageway of the Nene Parkway, 400 metres from junction 33.
Officers believe the 63-year-old had just got out of a vehicle when the incident occurred.
A 31-year-old man, driving the Scenic, was not injured in the incident.
