FIREFIGHTERS were sent to a corn fire between St Ives and Abbots Ripton on Friday (September 21).
A crew from St Ives arrived at the fire affecting around five tonnes of corn, near the B1090, shortly after 4.35pm.
A farmer helped firefighters tackle the blaze using a teleporter. Crews were back at base by 7pm.
The cause of fire was accidental.
