School was a bit of a drag for children at Crosshall Infant School in St Neots last Wednesday.
The pupils were visited by staff from Santa Pod Raceway who brought along a huge dragster racing car. Pupils had the opportunity to marvel at the speed machine, listen to a talk about its mechanics and ask questions.
The visit was particularly timely for the school’s reception children as they are learning about different transport.
Children were also given activity packs to build their own 3D racing cars.
