A 60-year-old man was pinned to the ground and punched by a robber who made off with £10.
The man was walking along Nuns Bridge, in Brampton Road, towards Huntingdon at about 11.30pm on Thursday (November 21) when he was attacked by a man wearing a black hooded jacket with white lining and dark baggy trousers.
The robber, described as white, in his early 20s and 5ft 9in-tall, pushed his victim to the ground before punching him several times.
He took £10 from the victim’s wallet, then walked off.
The victim was not seriously hurt and didn’t need to go to hospital. He flagged down a police car shortly after and reported the robbery.
DC James Howard said: “The victim was not seriously hurt but he was very shaken and upset by what happened.
“I would appeal for anyone who was in the area and thinks they recognise the description of the man given to get in touch. Any information, no matter how small it may seem, could be important to this inquiry.”
INFORMATION: Anyone with information should contact DC Howard on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
