A woman is in a serious condition in hospital after a crash involving a lorry and a car on the A14 last night (Thursday).
Paramedics rushed to the eastbound carriageway at Huntingdon at about 7.15pm to treat the woman, who is in her 50s, who had suffered stomach injuries and was having problems breathing.
She was treated at the scene by Magpas Helimedix before she was transported to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, where she arrived in a serious, but stable, condition.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance said three other people were treated at the scene, with one being taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Huntingdon, for further treatment.
