CCTV images have been released of a masked man wanted in connection with a robbery at a St Ives bookies.

Police are investigating after an employee at William Hill in Station Road was told to hand over money from the till at about 7.30pm yesterday (Wednesday).

The offender, whose face was concealed by a multi-coloured mask, was given a small amount of cash and left.

PC Jo Grant said: “This was a terrifying experience for the member of staff and I would urge anyone who recognises the man on the CCTV to call police.

“He has quite distinctive clothing and I would appeal to anyone who recognises it to come forward.”
