A St Neots man helped remove the Tower of London’s poppy memorial which marked the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War.
Simon Barons, who works at UK Power Networks, was one of nine people from the electrical company to remove some of the 888, 246 hand-made ceramic poppies.
The design manager said: “This was a really great thing to do as a team. We all had a great rapport and the teamwork has been fantastic. This is an event that has been seen worldwide and it is really nice to be part of that.”
