Masked men armed with a spade and a scaffolding pole robbed a St Neots jewellery shop on Tuesday (December 30).
Two men wearing balaclavas and dark clothing entered the A Freeman store in the High Street at 4.47pm, where they threatened staff before making off with part of a till and silver jewellery.
A third man was waiting for the pair in a blue Mini Cooper, and they drove towards Eynesbury.
Adrian Brittain, of Brittains The Furnishers, said: βIt is unnerving in a small town - my thoughts go out to the employees. They are not able to defend themselves in that situation.β INFORMATION: Call police on 101, or Crimestoppers, on 0800 555111.
