BT ambassador and gold medal runner Jonnie Peacock cut the ribbon on a Lord’s Taverners Sensory Room that will help youngsters with a range of disabilities learn in a tailored environment.

Joanne Hardwick, head teacher of Samuel Pepys School, said: “We are delighted to benefit from such generosity and are looking forward to starting to plan for the enhanced learning opportunities this resource will provide for our pupils.”

The room funded by BT will make a significant different to the school’s pupils by providing access to new technology that will bring stories to life through an interactive backdrop and help meet children’s individual needs.
