In science, students achieved above the national average results in the three sciences. The results in biology were 100 per cent A*-C, chemistry 97 per cent A*-C and physics 97 per cent A*-C.
English literature students achieved 84 per cent A*-C which is higher than the 2014 national average.
A spokesman for the school said: “The ability of our students is shown by the number of A* and A grades awarded. In science alone 35 were awarded closely followed by another 29 in maths with nine students achieving eight or more A* or A grades alone.”
