Police are appealing for information after a woman was reportedly approached by a masked man in a Somersham on Friday (December 11).
Police are appealing for information after a woman was reportedly approached by a masked man in a Somersham on Friday (December 11).
The woman was walking along Feoffees Road at around 8.30am when a white van pulled up alongside her.
The driver, a man, told the woman to get into the van but the woman ran straight home and the vehicle drove off.
According to police, the driver of the van was wearing a balaclava .
A spokesman for the police said the van is described as being small, and “a Ford Escort type”. A bright yellow jacket with grey bands around the sleeves was seen hanging on the back of the driver’s seat.
Anyone with information is being urged to contact Cambridgeshire police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
