Editors’ note: The rape charge against Mr Breedon (see story below) was discontinued by the Crown Prosecution Service by a letter dated 15 April 2016. The CPS said there was not enough evidence to provide a realistic prospect of conviction.
A 39-year-old man from St Neots will appear at Reading Crown Court charged with rape.
Kevin Breedon, 39, of Great High Ground, stands accused of raping a woman at a hotel in Reading on March 3.
Breedon was arrested on March 5 and appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court, where he was sent by magistrates to appear before a judge at Reading Crown Court.
Breedon is scheduled to appear at the crown court on April 15 to enter a plea.
