In lieu of sending out Christmas cards to customers and suppliers this year, Huntingdon-based seal and gaskets manufacturer VIP Polymers made a donation to children’s charity Dreamdrops.
Dreamdrops fundraises for the Holly Ward and Special Care Baby Unit at Hinchingbrooke Hospital as well as supporting community children’s services.
On the company’s reason for choosing Dreamdrops, managing director John Millar said: “VIP are committed to being actively involved in supporting and developing the local community. We chose Dreamdrops as they help provide the extra support that’s needed by the NHS. We’re pleased to know that our donation will go towards helping children and their families during a time when they need it most.”
Dreamdrops chairman, Anne-Marie Hamilton visited the VIP offices to accept the cheque which was presented to her by business development manager, Matthew Levitt.
