Organisers of the annual Cambridge Rock Festival (CRF) have announced that the event will be moving to a different venue.
The anticipated 2017 instalment is expected to take place at Horseheath Lodge, near Linton, following a new sponsorship arrangement with Cambridge’s Black Barn Records.
Dave Roberts, festival director, said “This will be our thirteenth full festival and we aim for it to be the start of a new chapter in the life of the CRF at an amazing new site – indeed as well as putting something in place for this year we are already thinking about 2018 too, which we expect to be even better as we will have the experience of our new site behind us.”
The event will run from August 3 to August 6, and follows the huge success of previous years when the likes of Thunder, Caravan and Focus performed.
For now though, organisers are keeping the 2017 acts a secret.
An initial batch of 400 early bird tickets are on sale, but it’s expected that more will become available.
