Police have launched an investigation after a man reported being assaulted as he walked his dog in Hemingford Grey.
Officers were called to Tuberville Court, at about 4.45am on April 29, to reports that a dog walker had been attacked while walking in an alleyway, suffering head injuries as a result.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police said: βAn ambulance was called to treat the victim for a gash on his head, and police later carried out enquiries at houses in the area, but no-one reported having seen or heard anything at the time of the incident. Investigations are continuing.β
Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
