A charity night held at a Huntingdon pub helped to raise more than £1,000.
Takin’ it Back featured an evening of classic soul and RnB music and took place at the Lord Protector, in Mayfield Road, on August 19.
A total of £1,128.48 was raised in total, which will be donated to Cambridgeshire charity Miller’s Stars, which supports bereaved parents who have experienced stillbirth and works with staff at Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
Laura Hyde, who organised the event, said: “We would like to thank everyone who played a part in making the night so successful.
“With special thanks to SAS Entertainment in St Ives; Nicki Hill; Glen Stone; Frank Buddle; Chris Groove; all the amazing staff and customers from the Lord Protector, and all the local businesses an people who donated raffle prizes.”
