Firefighters tackled a blaze in a lorry on the A14 at Godmanchester last night (Monday).
Two crews from Huntingdon, a crew from Cambridge and the water carrier from Ramsey were all used to fight the fire in the vehicle which was reported just after 11pm.
People living near the incident reported hearing what they thought were fireworks as the lorry burned.
Firefighters, who were at the scene for nearly three hours, wore breathing apparatus and used hoses to put out the fire which started accidentally.
