Former Brampton merchant Banker, Christopher Brierley, has been made a Freeman of the City of London in a ceremony at the Guildhall. Mr Brierley, pictured right, is also a non-executive director of a number of public and private limited companies. He has been a visiting lecturer at the City University and has lectured on management courses in the UK and Europe. He has been published on topics relating to financial markets.
After attending Kimbolton School from 1970 to 1979, the 45-year-old bachelor graduated from Hatfield University and has a Guildhall MBA.
His parents have lived in Brampton for 30 years.
