Although the agents, Christie and Co, would disclose neither the buyer nor the asking price, the lease's new owner is believed to be Lola Jones, who ran the Bluebell Nursery in Diddington, south of Buckden, who was driven out by parents' fears for their safety at a difficult junction on the A1.
Apricot Day Nursery comprises a purpose-built single-storey detached modular building in the grounds of Newton School, is registered to accommodate 27 children aged between three months and five years.
