At the June meeting, The Leys WI welcomed Erika Brown, who gave a talk on the work of the Hunts Society for the Blind. She also demonstrated various items that can help those with impaired vision.
Members were reminded of the forthcoming Safari Supper on June 20 and the tombola stall at the St Ives Carnival on July 8.
The monthly competition, An Unusual Moneybox, was won by Iris McKenzie.
The next meeting will be at 7.30pm on July 11 at Thorndown School. As usual, all visitors are welcome.
