THE count in NE Cambs is underway at the Hudson Leisure Centre in Wisbech.
Supporters of all the parties are observing the count, which started shortly before 11pm.
Included in the interested onlookers are Cambridgeshire County Council leader and Fenland councillor Jill Tuck.
Fenland chief executive and monitoring officer Tim Pilsbury expects the count to be complete at about 2.30am.
The result in NE Cambs is not in doubt, with Steve Barclay odds on favourite to top the poll and win the seat held for over 20 years by Malcolm Moss.
