MOTHER Goose meets The Apprentice in a new pantomime being staged in Kimbolton on Friday and Saturday. Melodramatics are presenting their own version of Mother Goose at the Mandeville Hall in Thrapston Road.
This rather unusual panto will focus on business Tycoon Sir Caster Sugar who is seeking an heir to his fortune by setting his team of apprentices various challenges.

A traditional fairytale is given a modern twist when Cinderella is performed by The Stodden Players on Friday and Saturday at the Margaret Beaufort School in Riseley. This show includes all the favourite characters, Cinderella, Prince Charming, the Ugly Sisters, the Wicked Stepmother and the Fairy Godmother. There will also be a few individuals you would not expect including the comic witches and Pongo the pig.
It will follow Baron Credit Crunch whose castle is falling down around him and he is in financial difficulty.

AN evening of 1940s music and singing is being held in Huntingdon to raise money fir charity. The Hartford Singers will be singing 1940s music at Hartford Village Hall in Main Street from 7.30pm. A raffle will be held and proceeds from the event will be donated to the Alzheimer's Research Trust.

A CRAFT fair is being held in Huntingdon to raise money for a charity that supports people with learning disabilities. The fair is taking place at the Commemoration Hall in High Street from 9.30am-3.30pm. Proceeds will go to the Huntingdon Mencap Society.

PRESERVES, meats and cakes are just a few of the treats on offer to buy at the Ramsey Farmers' Market. More than 16 traders will be at the Great Whyte from 8.30am-2pm offering shoppers the chance to try and buy their locally produced goods.
