A WOMAN is in hospital with serious injuries after a collision between a moped and a car in Cambourne.
The crash took place at about 2.30pm on Monday (August 31) in School Lane, Lower Cambourne and involved a Yamaha scooter and a grey VW Golf.
Medical emergency team, Magpas and East of England NHS ambulance trust paramedics arrived on scene in the air ambulance.
A spokesman for Magpas said: "The 20-year-old female rider of the moped sustained serious leg injuries and was sedated and anaesthetised at the scene. The patient was transferred by land ambulance to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge where she is in a serious but stable condition."
