A WOMAN had her purse stolen from her handbag as she pushed her trolley around Tesco in Huntingdon.
The 54-year-old victim from Huntingdon was approached by a woman as she shopped at the store in Sapley at about 10am on Wednesday, August 16.
The woman asked her about a label on an item of food. After giving an explanation she proceeded to a checkout, where she realised her purse, which contained cash and several cards, was missing.
The thief is described as white, in her late teens, with dark hair tied up and attractive.
She was wearing a light coloured top and jeans, and was possibly foreign.
Pc Tom Boon said: "We believe two women were involved, one providing a decoy while the other stole the purse."
