FIREFIGHTERS discovered the body of an elderly woman in a bungalow in Huntingdon following a fire.
Crews were called to the property in Coldhams South on Sunday (March 15) just after 2pm, where the body was discovered in the kitchen.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze, which had started in the lounge and returned to base at 3.30pm.
The name of the deceased person has not yet been released. A post mortem examination is due to take place later today (Monday) and a fire investigation has been launched.
