A BRAMPTON woman was punched three times in the face and arm as she walked her dog in the village. The 35-year-old woman received medical treatment for the minor injuries she suffered to her face and arm during the attack, which took place along the lane that leads to Sandwich Road, at about 6.45am on Tuesday, September 5. The man shouted 'give it to me' at the woman and then punched her. The woman's dog jumped up at the man allowing the woman to escape. The man is described as white, five foot eight inches tall, in his mid-20s, with short blond hair and green eyes. He was wearing a black t-shirt, black or navy trousers and dark coloured footwear. Detective Constable Karin Peters said: "This was a violent and unprovoked attack on a lone woman and we need to catch the man responsible. I would like to hear from anyone who saw a man matching the description to contact me. It's possible he was injured by the woman's dog during the attack - has someone you know come home with injuries that may have been caused during this incident? This woman has suffered a very distressing assault and we need your help in finding her attacker."
