ON behalf of the St Neots branch of the Arthritis Research Campaign, I would to thank Mrs Heather Davidson and Mr Mick Seddon, immediate past captains of the Abbotsley Golf Club, and Mrs Dot Stephens, immediate past captain of St Neots Golf Club ladies' section for choosing ARC for their captains' charity in 2006. Their members raised £3,651.94 to help research into curing arthritis.

* ON Saturday, November 18, Cambridge Students' RAG Appeal ran a street collection.
The event was in aid of the British Heart Foundation's branches in Huntingdon and St Neots.
We would like to thank the people of Huntingdon and St Neots for their kind support.
The total raised was an excellent £1,330.29.
