A FAMILY favourite full of quirky and humorous poems and songs is being performed in Huntingdon.

Quantum Theatre Company present a new version of Lewis Carroll's Alice Through the Looking Glass at the Commemoration Hall on Friday, July 10.

The children's story follows a girl called Alice who is transported to a strange and magical world when she steps through the mirror above her fireplace. The new world she enters inside the mirror is laid out like a giant chessboard and she is a white pawn.

During her adventures inside the mirror she bumps into some enduring characters including Tweenledum and Tweenledee and the walrus and the carpenter.
