THE collection on September 8 outside Sainsbury's in Huntingdon raised £494.08.
On October 6 in St Ives £661.62 was collected, also in aid of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association. There were no expenses. All the money raised will go towards the training of guide dogs for blind and partially-sighted people.
