Both have new babies who have been added to their families well after they requested larger council houses. Both families have special needs children (behavioural problems in the case of the Crisp/Hamptons, and a heart condition in the case of the Murgatroyds).
One can't help but wonder about the wisdom in deciding to add more children to these families already in some form of social or medical distress, and then looking to the council to magic up larger homes for them.
I wish them well in their wait for larger homes but would be hopeful that they look hard at how they can best help their own situation as well as depending on the council and public funds to provide for them.
