THE Huntingdon and March branch of the RSPCA is making a desperate appeal for people to offer homes to some of the cats in its care.
The group has 18 cats with room for only another few before its facilities reach capacity.
All the cats have been rescued from the Cambridgeshire area after being injured, sick or unwanted.
Marion Lovegrove, spokesman for the group, said: "We'd just like to let people know that if they are looking for a new pet, they can contact us.
"Each re-homed animal is neutered, has had its initial vaccinations and cats are fitted with an identification microchip."
The RSPCA's Huntingdon and March branch, which is funded entirely by donations, also has two rabbits that need a new home together.
