WHILE Mr Knight is correct about a senior member of staff from Hinchingbrooke Hospital recently having visited treatment centres in the USA (Letters, October 11) he clearly does not know the full story.
The matron from the treatment centre was selected by an outside organisation - NHS Elect - to take part in a study visit to the USA.
All the expenses for the visit were paid by NHS Elect and there was no cost whatsoever to Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
