AN EVENING of Fairtrade is being organised in Sawtry, as the village moves to Fairtrade Village status. This has the support of the parish council and a local steering group has been set up.
The group is now looking for support from other local organisations and shops.
It is organising an evening of Fairtrade with Mary Cox from Just Sharing, the Fairtrade shop in St Ives and with support from the village Co-op.
The evening is tomorrow (Thursday) from 7.30pm on in the Old School Hall, Green End Road, Sawtry.
